The Lazy A Campground and Pickin’ In the Panhandle will be signed along the route from I-81.
Directions from Interstate 81:
- Take exit 5 in WV (WV-51 / Inwood / Charles Town)
- Head West onto SR-51 (WV-51) – 4.6 Miles
- Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-45 – 2.6 Miles
- Turn RIGHT (North) onto CR-7 [Back Creek Valley Rd] – 1.9 Miles
- Turn RIGHT (East) onto Kathy’s Lane – 0.3 Miles
The Lazy A Campground has tent and trailer dry camping available throughout the weekend of the event. Reservations may be made online or by calling the MBCCVB at 304-264-8801. THE CAMPGROUND WILL NOT TAKE DIRECT RESERVATIONS for this event. A reservation guarantees you a campsite for the night or the weekend (whichever you choose); however, the site location will be assigned upon arrival.
Camping costs $25 per night and each camper must have a valid weekend festival ticket. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paying adult. Click here to purchase your festival tickets and/or reserve your campsite today!
The campground will open at 8 am on Friday, September 7 for campers and will close at 11 am on Monday, September 10. Early admittance not available.
Campground Notes:
- Hook-ups are NOT available.
- Porta-potties, haul water, and dump site available.
- Ice may be purchased onsite.
- Spots are assigned upon arrival as first come, first served.
- Fires must be off the ground in a fire pit or hibachi. Ground fires are not permitted and will be extinguished.
- Food and drinks must be kept at your campsite and will not be permitted in the fenced festival area.
- Camping tag must be visibly displayed upon arrival.
- Campers must leave their site clean upon departure.
The Sleepy Creek Wildlife Area is located nearby.
