Bluegrass is a form of American music which has been attributed to the Scots-Irish immigrants of Appalachia , as well as that of rural African-Americans, jazz, and blues. In bluegrass, each instrument takes a turn playing the melody and improvising around it. Pickin’ in the Panhandle hopes to bring mountain roots to you so you’ll understand some of what makes WV, Wild and Wonderful. Feel like showing off your own skills?
