Let attendees enjoy your tantalizing talents by donating samples of your BBQ to the Tastin’ Tent. Here’s how it works …
- We distribute pork butts and turn-in containers to teams who volunteer to cook for the Tastin’ Tent. Distribution will be after the cooks’ meeting on Friday, September 7.
- You take the pork back to your cooksite, work your magic overnight, and turn in the cooked butt at 10:30 am. The turn-in table will be right next to the judges’ tent to keep things simple.
- We’ll take it from there! Festival attendees will pay a small donation to taste the BBQ and will vote for their favorite to help crown our People’s Choice winner. The winning team will receive a trophy and a free entry into the 2013 competition!

To participate in the 2012 Tastin’ Tent, just “check” the appropriate box on your BBQ team registration. Please note: We will be limiting the number of Tastin’ Tent/People’s Choice participants to the first 25 teams who volunteer. This will be first come, first served based on the date your registration form is received.
